Research Guide

Research panels add context to a chart. Use them to understand what can move a ticker and whether the technical setup fits the broader picture.

Fundamentals

Open Fundamentals from the Analysis menu to review available income statement, balance sheet, cash-flow and ratio data. Switch between annual and quarterly periods depending on the question you are asking.

Events and catalysts

Earnings

Check the upcoming earnings marker before placing a trade plan. Results can materially change volatility and invalidate technical levels.

News

Read current headlines for possible catalysts, guidance changes, corporate actions or sector developments.

Insiders

Use insider information as one contextual input. Do not infer intent from a single transaction in isolation.

Data timing

Always consider exchange-specific data delays, especially when reviewing a fast-moving event.

Correlation and comparison

Use Correlation to compare the current ticker against another instrument on a normalised basis. It can help identify whether a move is company-specific, sector-driven or part of a broader market move.

Research workflow: identify the event risk, inspect the technical structure, then define a plan with explicit entry, invalidation and target levels.
