Data & Limitations
Understanding how data is presented is part of using an analysis platform responsibly.
Data timing and availability
Data availability and delay depend on the exchange, instrument, provider and market session. A displayed price may not be a real-time executable quote. Always check the chart’s market-data timing information and confirm prices with your broker or primary data source before making a decision.
Alerts are notifications, not execution
An alert tells you that its configured condition was evaluated as true. It does not place an order, reserve liquidity, guarantee a fill or protect against gaps. Delivery can also depend on external email or messaging services.
- Use expiry dates and one-time limits for levels that become irrelevant.
- Review alerts after changing a ticker thesis, drawing or timeframe.
- Do not rely on an alert as the only risk-control mechanism for a live position.
Indicators and calculations
Indicators, Insights and header metrics are calculated from the available chart data and selected settings. Values can differ from another platform because of data source, session treatment, adjustment method, timeframe, rounding or formula implementation.
